Hey y’all its Josh. Part of me, being from the north, still cannot believe that it is something I say now. I am a rising junior from Morgantown West Virginia. At Furman University I am a Business Administration major on the Pre-Med track. I am one of the students interns this summer for the Furman University Admissions Department and am really excited to be able to tell all of you this summer about some of my experiences here at Furman. A little bit about me I am actually a dual citizen of Canada and spent a couple of years living there when I was younger. I also grew up playing ice hockey from a very young age and to this day it is still one of my favorite things. At Furman, I am involved in many different clubs and organizations. Some of my favorites are, I am an Ambassador meaning that I get to show prospective students around campus and tell them why Furman is such a great place, I am in a fraternity where I serve as a member of our executive comity, and I am the president of Young Life on campus where I also volunteer as a leader at a local high school. Deciding to attend Furman has been one of the best decisions of my life, even though some of my friends from high school still think I go to Fordham University in New York, ugh northern things. Furman has given me some of my best friends that I have ever had and has allowed me to grow into the person that I am today. I cannot wait to be able to tell y’all why Furan was the right choice for me and hopefully you too throughout the rest of the summer.
